FAQ

No elite athlete trains without a coach. No serious founder builds without a board. The men who get furthest rarely do it entirely alone.
The men I work with come for different reasons.
Some can feel the gap between where they are and what they know is possible, and they’re serious enough about closing it to do something about it.
Others know something isn’t quite right. They’ve tried to shift it themselves. They’ve thought about it, worked harder, talked it through, and still find themselves coming back to the same patterns.
Both are good reasons to start.

Executive coaching can be incredibly valuable. But sometimes you reach a point where the usual tools stop being enough. You understand what to do, you may even know exactly what needs to change. And yet something keeps pulling you back to the same place.
That’s where this work goes deeper.
We look at the patterns underneath the behaviour; the beliefs, assumptions and emotional responses that can operate before you’re even consciously aware of them.
The aim isn’t simply to help you manage the pattern better.
It’s to understand what’s driving it and work on it at the source.

Therapy has its place, and I have enormous respect for it. What I do is different in its purpose and approach.
Yes, there’s space here to say the things you’ve never said out loud. For many of my clients, that alone is significant. But we don’t stop at talking about what’s happening.
We work with the patterns themselves; the beliefs, emotional responses and behaviours that may have been shaped long before you had the language to question them.
Therapy and coaching can overlap, but they aren’t interchangeable. If you need therapy, I’ll tell you. If you’re ready to work on what’s keeping you stuck and want a focused, forward looking approach, that’s where I come in.

Honestly? You might not…… not from a website.
Everything I do is built on relationships. I work with a small number of men at any one time, and I’m fully committed to each one.
That means I’m as selective as you are.
What I can tell you is that I bring a combination of skills, tools and life experience that is unusual. And when I’m in your corner, I’m all in.
Not simply as a service provider, but as someone genuinely invested in what happens to you.
The best way to know whether we’re right for each other is to have a conversation.

Most of my clients didn’t expect it to matter.
Many now tell me it was one of the reasons the work was able to go as deep as it did.
Almost every man I work with says some version of the same thing in our first conversation: they weren’t expecting to share what they shared, or they’d never said it out loud to anyone before.
One client calls it the Cassandra Effect, and I’ll happily take that.
My view is that many successful men have spent a lifetime performing; for their teams, their partners, their peers and the people who depend on them.
What I offer is somewhere that none of that is required.
A conversation with no agenda, no judgement and no performance needed. Just space to say what’s actually going on. I won’t judge you and I can’t be shocked.
One client told me his nervous system calms within five minutes of walking into my coaching room.

Yes. And it’s worth reading.
But most of the men who find their way to me aren’t looking for a DIY approach. They want to work directly with someone who can see what’s getting in the way and help them work through it.
You wouldn’t take a DIY approach to your legal strategy or financial planning. You’d find someone you trust and work with them.
This is no different.
The book is the beginning of the conversation.
What happens next is up to you.

Three approaches sit at the heart of the work: Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), Timeline Therapy and Motivational Maps.
We start with a Motivational Map - a diagnostic that helps reveal what is actually driving you right now. Not what drove you at 32, not what you think should be driving you. What actually is.
From there, Neuro-linguistic programming gives us a way of working with the beliefs and internal patterns that can keep you stuck, whilst Timeline Therapy can help you work through the emotional charge attached to significant experiences.
I’m a Master Practitioner in both NLP and Timeline Therapy and a trainer of Motivational Maps. The important thing however isn’t the name of the tools, it’s what they allow us to work on and the results they achieve.
-
Both, although I’ll always choose a room over a screen.
I’m based between London and Norfolk and work with clients across the UK and US.
In-person conversations are available in both locations. For those who prefer it, or where distance makes it more practical, we can work online.

Completely. What happens in our conversations stays there. No notes shared, no third parties, no agenda beyond yours.
-
It happens. And it’s worth understanding why.
The people who love you are used to you as you are. They’ve built their lives around that version of you; your rhythms, your patterns, even the ones that don’t serve you.
Change, even positive change, can feel uncertain from the outside.
If your partner has reservations, it’s rarely because they don’t want you to be happier. It may simply be that they don’t yet know what that change means for them. Or for both of you.
What I’ve seen consistently is that the men who do this work don’t become someone different, they become more fully themselves…. calmer, more present and more connected.
Often, the relationship is one of the first things to benefit.
If it would help, I’m always happy to have a conversation with a partner who has questions. This affects them too, and they deserve to understand what it involves.
-
You don’t have to do this. There’s no obligation and no pressure….. that’s not how I work.
But here’s what I know to be true. The challenges that are there today will still be there tomorrow and the year after. They don’t simply resolve themselves while you’re busy with everything else. They show up in your decisions, your relationships, your sleep, the way you feel inside a life that looks, from the outside, like it has everything.
The question isn’t really whether it’s worth it. It’s what it’s costing you to leave it as it is.
If you want to understand the value before committing to anything, start with a Clarity Conversation. Two hours, no obligation. Most men leave knowing exactly what they want to do next. Book in to arrange via a quick 15 minute chat.
-
Sometimes it does. And that’s okay.
What I’ve learned after years of coaching men is that the imagination is almost always worse than what actually comes up. The thing you’ve been avoiding, the thought or belief you’ve been sitting with for years, rarely turns out to be as insurmountable as you tell yourself.
And here’s what I know about the men I work with….. they’ve built businesses, led teams, made hard calls under pressure. They know that discomfort before a significant result isn’t a warning sign, it’s part of the process. This is no different.
What is different is that you won’t be navigating it alone. I’m with you through all of it. Not as a bystander, but as someone who genuinely cares about your experience and is there to guide you every step of the way.
-
The next step is simply a conversation.
No obligation. No pressure. No agenda beyond yours.
We’ll talk about where you are, what’s going on, and whether I’m the right person to help.
I only work with a small number of men at any one time.
If you’re ready, I’d love to hear from you.
